After spending a lot of time in Montréal and Las Vegas for the Quebec Deluxe and Lapse Vegas photography projects, we are back in Los Angeles to continue with our most ambitious adventure, which is building the largest LA timelapse photography archive ever created. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, also known as LACMA, […]
It’s a cold winter in Nevada. I drove from Southern California to spend Christmas time in what I call “The Electric City”, Las Vegas. This city has a huge advantage compared to other places for the time-lapse photography professional as the nightlife never stops. I was taking photographs all night, every night, and went to […]
Randy and I worked on a lot of time-lapse photo sequences in Montréal during this summer. Day and night. We had the opportunity to shoot from many places that are easy to access and from a rooftop near the Olympic Village. I had to work practically every morning since I woke up until I went […]
Downtown LA has experienced a lot of new constructions and building renovations between 2012 and 2016. I’m waiting for all major projects to be completed before I work on new photo sequences to capture the skyline again. In the meantime here are some photos I took with my phone:

Today is the first day of the demolition of the legendary and iconic Sixth Street Viaduct which connects the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles with the Boyle Heights neighborhood in East LA. Here are some behind-the-scenes photos I took while working on time-lapse sequences under the bridge. Most of the photos were taken with […]
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon when I drove to Mount Wilson to capture the sunlight reflected on the antennas. I found several spots in the area for capturing landscapes and sunsets. Unfortunately, the trip turned into a nightmare. There was a huge cloud covering the city and Downtown Los Angeles wasn’t visible. But the […]
Turnbull Canyon is a hilly area between the suburbs of Whittier and Hacienda Heights on the east side of Los Angeles County. In my opinion, this is the best location to photograph sunsets in Los Angeles any time of the year. Time-lapse photo sequences created from this place are simply amazing! While doing research about […]
This is a collection of photos of the most interesting and unique signs I have seen while exploring the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
There isn’t much to say here as the photos speak for themselves!
